256 Bytes is based on the logotype for the MITS Altair 8800: the first commercially successful personal computer. Unusual thick-thin choices are reminiscent of MICR typefaces of the 1960’s such as Data 70 and Westminster. This font includes a license that allows free commercial use: sometimes referred to as a desktop license. This allows you to install the font on a computer and use it to create posters, web graphics, game graphics, t-shirts, videos, signs, logos, eBooks and more. Read the license agreement for details.
